LSS (Lutheran Social Services) is heading up the long term recovery efforts in the area will be present and help to guide survivors to appropriate resources. There might be opprotunities for other MNVOAD agencies and partners to participate. Also, our Federal partners might reach out to specific agencies to request help.

Here is the 2014 MNVOAD Long Term Recovery manual. This document represents the efforts of the MNVOAD Long Term Recovery Committee.
MNVOAD LTR member agencies who participated in the development of this manual include: American Red Cross, Headwaters Relief Organization, Hennepin County Public Health Department, Lutheran Social Services of Minnesota, Minnesota Homeland Security and Emergency Management, Minnesota VOAD, The Salvation Army, Southern Baptists Disaster Relief, United Methodist Committee on Relief, and United Way 211.

New Guide Available to Help Mitigate the Financial Consequences of Disaster
