MnVOAD members involved in clean up met in Duluth on Wednesday to discuss volunteer coordination. There are national organizations as well as local organizations ready to assist with their own volunteers. MnVOAD organization will also provide leadership for the volunteers who have signed up through the United 2-1-1 call center. There is a significant amount of clean up in Carlton County including Moose Lake, Barnum and surrounding communities. There are member organizations that will begin immediate assistance in this area. There are also several groups who will assist in the Fond du Lac area.Debris removal has been resolved in both Duluth and Carlton County. Training for olunteer site leaders will be held at the Duluth City Chambers on Friday evening 6/29/12.
