The Mn VOAD conference call report Friday morning is that things seem to be stabilizing. No more evacuations. Water is receding in St. Louis County. Moose Lake is partially open. City of Thompson is evacuated but stabilizing. Water is receding in Willow River. Pine County- flooding issues are still under assessment. The Red Cross will be assisting with damage assessment this weekend. There is a lot of infrastructure damage. Residents are starting to call to indicate their need for help. There are a lot of groups gearing up to help with clean up and long term recovery, including several national groups.
