MNVOAD conducted its second conference call at 9:30 am for voluntary agencies already involved onsite and agencies spooling up their resources for future needs in Duluth and the surrounding counties. Red Cross and Salvation Army continue to assist with sheltering and hydration in Duluth and surrounding areas. MNVOAD’s long term recovery team is preparing to assist as needed; LSS has secured office space in Duluth for LTR. Offers of assistance have been sent to the Duluth, Carlton, Lake and St. Louis County emergency managers inviting their participation in our conference calls also.
